When you first install the Trengo PWA on your mobile device, we’ll ask you to allow notifications so you can stay up to date. For this, simply click on Enable Notifications > Allow after adding Trengo to your home screen.
If you accidentally tapped “Don’t allow” or want to turn notifications on later, here’s how to enable them through your device settings.
✅ On Android
- Open your phone’s Settings.
- Go to Apps or App Management.
- Find and tap on [Trengo] (it appears as a regular app if installed from Chrome).
- Tap Notifications.
- Make sure Allow Notifications is turned ON.
- Then go to Trengo PWA (from your phone home screen) > Preference >Turn on the notifications toggle
Tip: If you don’t see the app, make sure it was installed by choosing “Add to Home Screen” in Chrome.
✅ On iPhone
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap Notifications.
- Scroll down and find [Trengo] (only visible if installed from Safari).
- Tap it and toggle Allow Notifications to ON.
