Trengo’s integration with Aircall allows you to centralise your customer communication by logging and managing all calls directly from your inbox. Aircall, a leading VOIP provider, seamlessly connects with Trengo to create a dedicated VOIP channel, giving your team full visibility of every inbound, outbound, and missed call, all in one place.

By connecting your Aircall account to Trengo, you’ll not only track call activity but also enrich it with notes, labels, and team collaboration tools. Ensuring no detail gets lost and every conversation counts.

Why you should use Aircall x Trengo Integration

Managing calls outside your main support system leads to missed context, fragmented timelines, and time-consuming manual tracking. The Aircall integration eliminates these pain points by automatically logging call data into your shared inbox, alongside chats, emails, and other channels.

From inbound support to outbound sales, every call becomes part of the bigger customer picture.

Here’s what you’ll get:

  • Native integration with Aircall, trusted by global teams for crystal-clear VOIP
  • Automatic call logging inside Trengo for inbound, outbound, and missed calls
  • Internal notes and labels added directly to call records for full context
  • Easy access to recordings with direct URLs to Aircall from each call ticket
  • Unified customer history across voice, chat, email, and more

Step-by-Step: Connect Aircall to Trengo

  1. Make sure you are logged in to both your Aircall and Trengo accounts.
  2. In Aircall, go to “Integrations & API” and search for Trengo.
  1. Click the Trengo app icon and select “Install integration”.
  2. Follow the authentication steps, including selecting a phone number for integration.
  3. After setup, you’ll be redirected to Trengo.
  4. In Trengo, assign an internal channel name, choose which teams can access it, and confirm the same phone number you used in Aircall.
  5. Click “Update Channel” to complete the setup.
⚠️ One phone number can only be used for one channel in Trengo.

How the integration works in practice

Once connected, all calls made through Aircall will generate a corresponding ticket in Trengo, complete with caller details, timestamps, agent data, and a direct link to the call recording.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Inbound calls
    • Receive calls through the Aircall app as usual.
    • In Trengo, a new ticket appears in the “New” folder during the call, and will move to “Closed” when the call is finished.
    • When the call ends, view call details including caller info, duration, and agent involved.
  • Outbound calls
    • Make calls through the Aircall app.
    • After the call, the ticket is automatically logged in Trengo’s “Closed” folder with all relevant details.
  • Missed calls
    • Get an in-app notification in Trengo.
    • See the reason for the missed call and access voicemails (if left) via a direct Aircall link.

Important Notes

  • Voice conversations occur in Aircall. Trengo is used for logging and managing the data.
  • There may be a slight delay in call logs appearing due to data sync times.

Aircall meets Trengo: make every call part of the conversation.

With this integration, your team can focus less on logging and more on connecting, keeping every customer call exactly where it belongs: in the full conversation.
