If you’d like to activate AI Agent and AI Journeys on your live chat and keep it available 24/7, you can now do this with a single toggle, no need for manual workarounds.

Enable “Online 24/7” Mode

Go to Settings → Web Widget, select the widget you want to update, and toggle “Online 24/7” under the Live Chat section.

This setting keeps your chat online at all times, regardless of business hours or agent availability, so AI can handle conversations whenever a visitor reaches out.

What’s Changed

Previously, keeping the chat open 24/7 required adjusting:

  • Account Settings
  • Website Widget Settings
  • Agent Status

These steps are no longer necessary.

The “Online 24/7” toggle bypasses the check for available human agents. Once AI is connected to your live chat, that check is no longer needed, AI takes over even when agents are offline or outside business hours.

Good to Know

  • Ensure AI Agent or AI Journeys is connected to your widget before enabling this toggle.
  • When “Online 24/7” is enabled:
    • “Always show chat as open” and “Show offline form outside business hours” are automatically turned off, as they’re no longer needed.
  • If AI is not connected, simply leave “Online 24/7” turned off and configure your widget using the other available live chat settings.

With this setup, your chat stays open and AI-ready, offering a seamless experience around the clock.
