After picking up a call in Trengo, you’re always able to forward the call to a colleague, team, or external number. In this article, we’ll tell you how to do this.

Forward a call

Follow the steps below to transfer a call using Trengo.

1. After picking up a call, click the ‘Forward’ icon;

2. Choose who you’d like to transfer the call to. The call gets paused once you start transferring it;

🔘 Forward call to a user: Click the user you’d like to transfer the call to.

🔘 Forward call to a team: Click the ‘Team’ tab and select the team you’d like to transfer the call to.

🔘 Forward call to an external number: Click the ‘Extern’ tab and type the number you’d like to transfer the call to. Make sure to use the international format, without the ‘+’.

ℹ️ In case the call does not get picked up, you can cancel the forwarding. You’ll now be able to forward the call to someone else, or to unpause the call and speak to your customer.
