By integrating Klaviyo with Trengo, you can automate processes in Trengo, based on triggers in Klaviyo. In this series of articles, we’ll show you how to have your customers opt-in (and opt-out) for e.g. your WhatsApp newsletter in Klaviyo.
Before you can get started on the actual ‘opt-in/opt-out’ flow, it’s important to enable your phone number in Klaviyo. Below you'll find a video of the full process of setting up an opt-in in Klaviyo.
Enable your number for opt-in in Klaviyo
To enable your phone number in Klaviyo, to make use of the ‘opt-in/opt-out’ feature, please follow the steps below.
1. Navigate to Klaviyo > Conversations > Set up SMS;

2. Choose a country and click ‘Next’. Note that you don’t have to reside in the country you chose;

3. Fill out your information and click ‘Next’;

4. Add your company name and click ‘Next’.

You’ve now added your phone number to Klaviyo. The next step is setting up the opt-in rule for your customers.
