By adding email to your website widget, you're allowing your site visitors to easily reach you through email via your website.
To add your email to your website widget you need:
- to be an account admin
- an added website widget
To add the email channel to your website widget, take the following steps:
- Go to your navigation panel >settings >settings >website widget and select the widget you'd like to add your email to.
- From the list, select 'Email'.
- Next, enable your channel by ticking the radio button.
- Fill in a recipient email address. That's the address where you'll be receiving all incoming conversations.
- Add custom fields by clicking on 'Add custom field. This allows you to require your visitors to provide more information such as a subject, their order number etc. Learn more about custom fields.
- Make sure you update your widget.
