How to purchase a phone number through Trengo Voice

Important

  • You can only purchase phone numbers for countries where you have a registered business entity
  • Document requirements differ by country and number type
  • You can learn more about the requirements on: rates.trengo.com (listed under the Phone Numbers section)

Step 1: Open the Voice settings

Go to: https://app.trengo.com/admin/channels2/voip

Click Connect Voice, then click Create channel under Trengo Voice.

Step 2: Set up your new Voice channel

Give your new Voice channel a name and select the teams that should have access to it.

Step 3: Choose your country and number type

Select your country and choose the available number type: local or national.

A local number is linked to a specific area in the country. Please note that availability depends on the country, and mobile numbers cannot be purchased through Trengo.

Step 4: Select a phone number

Choose the phone number you want and place your order.

Step 5: Submit the required information

After placing your order, the new channel will be created.

On the channel page, you may need to submit additional information or documents, depending on the selected country and number type. Make sure to submit all required details within 48 hours after purchase.

To see what is required, click the Required documents banner on the channel page. This will open the submission form.

Step 6: Check your email for updates

After placing your order, you will receive updates by email on the email address connected to your Trengo account.
