Select or update your Trengo plan

On this page, you find all the information on how to select, upgrade, downgrade or cancel your Trengo subscription plan.

Choose the right plan for your business

You can upgrade your free account to any account plan - Essential, Boost or Pro. You will not lose any of the work you completed in Trengo during your free trial when you choose a paid plan.

To start or edit your subscription you need to have an administrator account. If you are not sure which Trengo plan suits your company best, feel free to reach out to sales@trengo.com. We’re happy to help!

Select your Trengo plan

Follow the steps below to select your Trengo subscription plan:

1. Navigate to Settings > Account > Subscription settings > Edit subscription

2. Select the plan that most suits your needs (Essentials, Boost or Pro). Trengo will automatically show the plan that suits your current settings;

3. Choose your billing rotation (monthly or annually). Do note that the annual billing rotation allows you to pay for your plan upfront at a discounted rate. Paying for an annual plan upfront can save up to 20% compared to paying monthly;

4. Select the number of users that are going to use your Trengo account;

5. Fill in the rest of the required information;

6. Check all information filled in and selected above, to make sure everything is correct;

7. Start your subscription by clicking 'Start subscription'.

Upgrade your Trengo plan

If you want to add more users, connect more channels or expand your Trengo account in any way, you can always upgrade your Trengo plan. 

Follow the steps below to upgrade your Trengo subscription plan:

1. Navigate to Settings > Company profile > Subscription settings > Edit subscription

2. Select the plan you’d like to upgrade to (Boost or Pro) and/or add more users;

3. Confirm your upgrade by clicking 'Update subscription'.

Downgrade your Trengo plan

You can downgrade your Trengo subscription at any time to any account plan. Be aware that downgrading your Trengo plan might result in restricted access to certain features and channels.

Follow the steps below to downgrade your Trengo plan:

1. Navigate to Settings > Company profile > Subscription settings > Edit subscription

2. Select the plan that most suits your needs (Essentials or Boost), and/or reduce the number of users;

3. Check all information filled in and selected above, to make sure everything is correct;

4. Confirm your downgrade by clicking 'Update subscription'.

ℹ️ Every downgrade will be activated at the end of the recurring billing period. Do note again that downgrading your Trengo account might result in restricted access to certain features and channels.

Cancel your Trengo plan

Canceling your Trengo subscription plan will always be effective at the end of the current billing period. This means that if you choose a yearly subscription on the 1st of July, the cancellation will be effective after the 30th of June of the next year.

Follow the steps below to cancel your Trengo subscription plan:

1. Navigate to Settings > Company profile > Subscription settings

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page;

3. Click 'Cancel subscription'. 

ℹ️ Do note that you will not be able to cancel your Trengo subscription as long as you still have outstanding invoices.

ℹ️ Cancelation of your plan is only valid if the steps above are followed.
