White, green and grey... Who says what

If you are handling a live chat or social messaging conversation it is important to be aware of the different colors that a message can appear in. Trengo distinguishes 3 colors to keep them separated:

  1. White
  2. Green
  3. Grey

This way, you can recognize at a glance which message belongs to whom.

Let's have a look at a random live chat conversation:

  1. White
    Messages with a white background are the messages sent by the customer. These will appear on the left side of the conversation screen.
  2. Green
    These are the messages that are sent from Trengo and can be read by the customer. Usually, those messages are given by the agents, but Chatbot's messages also appear in green. Both messages can be distinguished by the icon that appears next to them on the right. This is either a bot icon 🤖  or the agent's icon.
  3. Grey
    Grey messages are internal messages. This could be a tag or an internal note.
